Whoa, after using my film pentax cameras I just took a look through my 350D, can barely see a thing, it's tiny. Not to mention the whole camera is rather bulky.

Time for an update

Well, yes

I am now =trinixtwinix, again. I'm not such a good journal updater, but since I can safely post without screwing up my awesome layout I figured I may as well. It's another new year, and I'm glad it is; 2007 was awful, 12 months of utter boredom, frustration, angst, an ability to be decisive, topped off by a slice of not so nice death.

I've been a member here now for just over two years, loads of new gear, even have new shiny macbook, yet photography still doesn't seem to becoming flooding in or at great quality either, but we shall see what this year holds in store (hopefully inspiration and a sudden injection of skill and knowledge). Anyone know how to improve more? Everything seems very stagnant at a crappy stage.

This year will have me taking (hopefully, if everything goes to plan) media studies, and year 12 history (I shall be year 11), if not I will still have year 11 history with the same, somewhat interesting, teacher.

I wish everyone the best and an exciting 12 months.

I need some money, I'm looking to buy an iMac or a new computer sometime before the end of the year, since I want a bigger screen a cleaner desktop for editing (I'll probably will end up not using the computer so much, or for more mediaistic purposes). So to get this money I have very few options - I might look for a job somewhere but I thought I might be able to sell some of my 'art' here on DA, do commissions, and requested stock photography.

How many of you would buy any photos off me, or request custom stock?

News

In other news - I'm completely BORED, these holidays have probably been some of the worst in existance - but I did manage to watch a few Alfred Hitckcock films, which benefits my current buffing goals.

EDIT: I also just realised that alot of web browsers view only the 'sRGB' colour profile, this includes the two major players: Mozilla and Internet Explorer. Unfortunately I upload a large number of 'Adobe 1998' colour profiled pictures - this means when you view pictures of mine in full view that your browser is assigning the wrong profile which in turn makes my pictures look slightly off key or faded to what I had intended. I did manage to find out that 'Safari', Apple's browser, can view 'Adobe 1998' profiled pictures - so to view my gallery in its full glory please download the browser at [link]
